Say hello to our most-anticipated event of the year... Beneath the Scrubs! 🥼🩺 The theme for this year is 'Life Behind the Knife' - true to this theme, we will be having a panel of 2 surgeons and an intern (soon to be announced - you don't want to miss this!) presenting on their life in medicine and surgery. They'll share the knitty-gritty behind the scenes of surgery, from examples of their daily cases to their weekly schedule as a surgeon. You'll also see how, using the panellists' tips, a career in surgery means you can have a life too! If you want to see what the reality of being is surgeon is like, there is no better place to be than at Beneath the Scrubs. Welcome to the Y1 Suturing Night!! This is a Y1 only into-to-suturing night, with teaching by General Surgeon Dr Ming Yew. Come on down to learn the basics of suturing, simple interrupted, horizontal and vertical mattress sutures. This is a free event, so bring your mates along for an incredible learning experience!
